Sheikh Muhammad Bin Zayed, President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), will arrive today on a week-long special visit to Rahim Yar Khan’s Cholistan district. Sheikh Muhammad Bin Zayed will stay in Cholistan during his visit and will also participate in the hunt for the houbara bustard, according to sources. For his travel to Cholistan, strict security arrangements have been established.
Pakistan Rangers special forces have been stationed in Cholistan for the past few days to ensure his safety. Furthermore, special security forces from the UAE were stationed outside Sheikh Muhammad’s house in Cholistan. It should be noted that the Crown of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan Bin Muhammad, and Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE, Sheikh Mansoor Bin Raashid, arrived in Cholistan a few days ago and that the Presidential Guards and advance hunting groups also landed in Cholistan prior to their arrival.
According to sources, PM Shahbaz Sharif would return to Islamabad from the airport soon after receiving Sheikh Muhammad. The president of the UAE is set to visit Islamabad after finishing his private visit to Cholistan, where he will meet with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Arif Alvi.
