The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) is commemorating the late Benazir Bhutto’s 15th death anniversary today.
Benazir Bhutto, a former Pakistani prime minister, and the first Muslim country’s democratically elected female leader was killed on December 27, 2007, in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, at the age of 54.
She offered the best chance for democratic and equitable leadership in a nation driven insane by political corruption and Islamic fanaticism, according to many of her followers.
To commemorate his late mother, former prime minister Benazir Bhutto, who passed away 15 years ago, PPP Chairman and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari traveled to Larkana. On the 15th anniversary of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto’s martyrdom, Bilawal announced through Twitter that he had arrived in Larkana and that they will pay respect to her.
He said that they were motivated by her valiant fight against fanaticism and tyranny. She taught us to work for a #PakistanforAll, not just a wealthy few, and to serve the community. Additionally, Bilawal encouraged people to travel to Garhi Khuda Bakhsh to honor Benazir Bhutto.
