LAHORE: According to reports, Punjab Assembly Speaker Sibtain Khan has submitted a letter to President Dr. Arif Alvi formally requesting the removal of Governor Baligh-ur-Rehman.
The speaker of the House of Representatives issued a letter to the president condemning the misconduct of Punjab Governor Baligh-ur-Rehman. In his letter, the speaker emphasized the Punjab government’s unlawful actions and demanded that he be removed. He added that the governor is the president’s representative and should be prevented from doing such unconstitutional actions.
