RAWALPINDI: The clearance operation at FC Compound Muslim Bagh in Northern Balochistan, which began on Friday evening after repelling the initial onslaught of terrorists, was concluded on Saturday, according to the military’s media wing.
“The complex clearance operation also included a hostage rescue operation to save three families from a residential block.” “The terrorists had not even spared children from their heinous attack,” claimed the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a statement.
It further stated that appropriate intelligence follow-up will be conducted in order to trace their links, arrest facilitators, and expose their funders.
During the clearance operation, seven sons of the soil, including a civilian, embraced Shahadat, while another six people, including a lady, were hurt, according to the statement.
According to ISPR, security forces remain resolved to thwart all attempts to undermine Baluchistan’s peace, stability, and growth.
Hoshab assault
Meanwhile, security forces foiled a terrorist attack on a checkpoint in Hoshab, Balochistan, according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Terrorists attacked a security checkpoint in the Hoshab area of Balochistan. The security personnel were able to repel the distant fire raid.
The fugitive terrorists were tracked into the neighboring Balore mountains using aerial surveillance, according to the ISPR.
Five terrorists were killed during the clash, and a cache of weapons and ammo was discovered. The operation, however, is still tracking a few escaping terrorists into neighboring territories, it concluded.
