Sindh IG vows to strengthen police force

KARACHI: Sindh Inspector General (IG) Ghulam Nabi Memon announced on Thursday the formation of a Task Force to improve security in Karachi.

In a statement, IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon said that there were over 2,400 police martyrs who gave their lives to bring calm to the city. He went on to say that the police force will not be afraid to make sacrifices since it is our obligation to protect civilians’ lives and property.

While referring to religion, he stated that the martyrs are still alive and announced that the martyr’s stipend will not be stopped and that the children of martyrs will be given education, medical care, and two government jobs.

IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon went on to say that the Task Force was formed to streamline security measures.

“We are looking for SHOs, SPs, and DSPs to work in their respective areas.” We intend to attack narcotics holistically.” IG Sindh came to a conclusion.
