Sindh Govt announces 2000 jobs in police department

KARACHI: The Sindh government has announced 2000 new positions in the province’s police department.

Details indicate that Syed Murad Ali Shah, the chief minister of Sindh, has given his approval for the hiring of a 2000 Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Investigation in the police department.

Regarding the hiring of 2,000 new police officers, the Sindh Home Department has also sent a letter to Ghulam Nabi Memon, the inspector general of police in Sindh.

The Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) will fill about 50% of the open positions at ASI Investigations, while departmental promotions will fill the remaining openings.

These posts are offered in several Sindh districts and are open to both male and female applicants
