KARACHI: On Wednesday, the COVID-19 immunizers in Sindh protested outside the Karachi Press Club (KPC) about the eight-month pay delay.
In Sindh, the Covid vaccinator’s salary was withheld for eight months. The immunizers organized a demonstration outside the Karachi Press Club (KPC) and asked that the provincial government pay them.
The demonstration outside the KPC entered its third day. Also, they attempted to enter the Red Zone, but authorities blocked their way with barriers.
If their salaries are not paid, the immunizers threatened to besiege the Chief Minister’s residence. Along with getting paid, the health workers urged that their positions become permanent.
