Shaheen Shah Afridi reaches unique milestone in T20s

Shaheen Shah Afridi, a star pacer for Pakistan, became the youngest bowler to record 200 T20 wickets on Monday during the fifth T20I between Pakistan and New Zealand at Pindi Cricket Stadium.

Shaheen Shah Afridi overcame some well-known bowlers to become the youngest player to collect 200 wickets in T20 cricket after striking twice in the first over of New Zealand’s innings.

Tom Latham, the captain of New Zealand, was taken out of the game by the left-arm bowler on the first pitch of the innings, giving him a double century of T20 wickets.

Shaheen defeated Kagiso Rabada of South Africa to claim the title of youngest overall and fastest bowler to reach the milestone.

The fastest bowler to 200 wickets is the legendary Rashid Khan of Afghanistan, who is followed by Saeed Ajmal and Shaheen of Pakistan.
