PESHAWAR: Seven people have been detained in the Faqirabad neighborhood of Peshawar for their involvement in a mobile phone rental business that catered to minors.
According to the information, a video of a business that rents out mobile phones to kids in the Faqirabad neighborhood for Rs. 60 per hour has gone viral, showing the kids using the phones at the store.
The seven people who were renting cell phones to children, according to a police statement, were detained in Peshawar’s Faqirabad neighborhood. The suspects were promoting online bad behavior, including urging kids to play PUBG games.
Two shops were shut down during the operations, according to the police, and 23 mobile phones were found in the people’s hands.
