LAKKI MARWAT: Security forces killed 12 terrorists during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Lakki Marwat on Wednesday, according to authorities.
According to police, the terrorists belonged to the Azhar-u-din organization and killed six police officers in an attack in December 2022. According to the authorities, the armed guys were on their way to Tank to carry out an attack when they were targeted by security forces.
Arms and ammunition were discovered in the possession of the deceased terrorists. The process of identifying the felons is now underway, according to police officials. Earlier this month, police foiled an armed terrorist attempt on a police station in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Lakki Marwat district (KP).
According to police, all officers at the Wargara police station were unharmed in the terrorist incident. The police and locals retaliated strongly against the terrorists. The attackers were able to flee the scene by taking advantage of the night’s darkness.
