SC bench headed by CJP Bandial delisted

ISLAMABAD: All cases before Supreme Court benches headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandial have been delisted, according to a notification issued by the apex court Registrar Office.

“All the cases scheduled for hearing before the bench have also been delisted,” the notification read. Justice Jamal Mandokhel and Justice Athar Minallah were also members of the bench, and they were scheduled to hear 12 cases today (Wednesday).

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court spokeswoman stated that “bench No. 1 has been delisted due to the Chief Justice of Pakistan’s inability to appear in court due to health issues.”

Furthermore, matters before the bench of Justices Sardar Tariq Masood and Shahid Waheed have been delisted.

Bench 2 would be made up of Justice Ijazul Ahsan and Justice Aminuddin Khan; Bench 3 would be made up of Justice Mansoor Ali Shah, Justice Ayesha Malik, and Justice Shahid Waheed; and Bench 4 would be made up of Justice Muneeb Akhtar and Justice Mazahir Ali Akbar Naqvi.
