Sanaullah acquitted in drug smuggling case

LAHORE:

Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah was cleared on Saturday in a case alleging narcotics smuggling. Earlier in the day, a plea was submitted asking for Sanaullah’s release from the case.
Assistant Director Imtiaz Ahmed and inspector Ahsan Azam are disputing the charges, according to attorney Farhad Shah during the hearing.

The PML-N leader should be freed, according to the plea, because the case was brought on political reasons.
