According to a statement made by Balochistan Head Minister Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo, at least four persons were hurt by a grenade explosion on Quetta’s Sabzal Road on Sunday. He denounced the act and gave the provincial police chief instructions to strengthen security measures in the city.

Dr. Waseem Baig, the media coordinator for the Balochistan Health Department, subsequently acknowledged in a media interview that four persons had been hurt in the event.

In addition, CM Bizenjo urged police to “leave no stone unturned in putting the enemies of peace to task” and continue intelligence-based operations against terrorists. He also directed that the injured be given access to the greatest medical facilities.

Additionally, sharply condemning the occurrence, Balochistan’s Minister of Home Affairs, Mir Zia Ullah Langove, has requested a report from the relevant authorities.
