
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has said that it will submit a disqualification reference against its five Punjab Assembly (PA) members who were absent during the assembly session while the resolution to vote on confidence was being discussed.
Khurram Laghari, Momna Wahid, Faisal Farooq Cheema, Dost Mazari, and Chaudhry Masood, according to Azhar Mishwani, Imran Khan’s focal person for social media operations, did not attend the meeting. The Election Commission will receive a disqualification reference against them as a result.
According to a tweet from Azhar Mishwani, there are 180 PTI members in Pennsylvania. Only 175 PTI members attended the assembly after the five members mentioned above were excluded. With the support of 10 PML-Q members and one independent, Pervaiz Elahi was successful in winning the vote of confidence.
