A guy heckled Meghan Markle and Prince Harry as they arrived at the New York Hilton on Tuesday for the “Ripple of Hope” event, accusing them of ruining the royal family.

When the Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived at the event, the crowd showered them with adoration. However, one individual insulted them. People were seen clapping and calling out the couple’s names as they exited their car in a popular video that was shot that evening. Even some of them were shouting, “Love you, Meghan!”

However, a man from the crowd who stood out when he questioned, “What do you think about destroying the royal family?” infuriated Lilibet and Archie’s parents.

The question was then directed at the Duchess, “Meghan, you ruined the royal family,” said the guy.

On Twitter, the video has received a variety of responses. One internet user expressed his gratitude for the way the applause muffled the man’s voice. “I liked how the audience’s applause drowned out the heckler. We adore the Duke and Duchess of Sussex over here; you’re over the pond.

Meanwhile. Because of the heckler’s accent, someone asked if he worked for a British tabloid. “What are the chances that one guy heckling them works for a British tabloid?” the netizen said.

“Just pointing out that I think it’s strange that the only guy present heckling them has a British accent. In New York City, a British accent is as distinctive as the Empire State Building. And I can say that since I’ve spent my entire life in New York City.”

For their “unwavering dedication to social change” and for standing up to the queen over their alleged “racist,” Prince Harry and Meghan Markle received an award.
