
RAWALPINDI: On Wednesday, abductors retrieved a 9-year-old girl who was sold to a beauty parlor in Rawalpindi.
The girl was stolen on May 10 from the airport police station, according to Rawalpindi police. She was afterward sold to a beauty parlor in Rawalpindi’s affluent district.
After receiving information, the police jumped into action, recovering the abducted girl with the assistance of a ‘local’ and arresting two kidnappers in the process, while raids are being made to apprehend the remaining members of the organization.
The Rawalpindi police department further stated that cops were among those engaged in the kidnapping of the youngsters.
An additional investigation has been initiated.
Previously, a Station House Officer (SHO) from Karachi’s Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) Yousuf Plaza police station was discovered to be implicated in a kidnapping for ransom.
An AVCC squad retrieved an abducted little boy, named Bilal, from the Yousuf Plaza police station, according to details. However, SHO Imran Mehmood, who is suspected of being implicated in the abduction, escaped the scene.
