
ISLAMABAD: Over Saturday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif spoke on the phone with Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the leader of the State of Kuwait.
The International Conference on Climate Resilient Pakistan will take place in Geneva on January 9, 2023, as Shahbaz informed the Kuwaiti PM and pleaded for high-level participation. The attempts to increase Pakistan’s climate resilience have the strong backing of the Kuwaiti PM.
PM Shehbaz highlighted the value Pakistan placed on its relationship with Kuwait and the country’s intention to continue fostering bilateral cooperation in a range of areas. He emphasized the desire to create a stronger economic relationship between Pakistan and Kuwait, notably in the areas of trade, investment, employment, and other crucial sectors.
The Kuwaiti prime minister echoed PM Shahbaz’s comments and expressed Kuwaiti leadership’s intention to strengthen and widen bilateral ties with Pakistan. The two presidents decided to stay in touch and cooperate on all matters of shared interest.
The two leaders decided to maintain their close communication and move Pakistan-Kuwait ties ahead by strengthening and deepening them.
