PM Shehbaz to reorganize PML-N

LAHORE: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has decided to restructure the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) ahead of the next general election.

According to reports, PM Shehbaz Sharif, who is also the president of the PML-N, has begun consultations with the party’s senior leadership. According to sources close to the situation, the names Ayaz Sadiq, Saiful Malook Khokhar, Khawaja Imran Nazir, and Hafiz Nauman are being considered for the PML-N Lahore presidency.

According to sources, Ayaz Sadiq has resigned as Lahore’s party president. Since Malik Pervez’s death, the position of PML-N Lahore president has been vacant.

Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif presided over a crucial meeting of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) to examine Pakistan’s overall political situation.

According to reports, the governing PML-N convened a consultative session at the Prime Minister’s Office to discuss impending local government elections in Islamabad and Sindh.
