Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, caretaker Punjab Chief Minister, is speaking at a press conference about the mysterious death of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) worker Ali Bilal.
PTI claimed that during Wednesday’s standoff at Zaman Park, Punjab police killed worker Ali Bilal, also known as Zille Shah.
The Punjab Home Department imposed Section 144 in Lahore on Wednesday, citing serious security threats, for seven days. The clashes occurred when police attempted to disrupt a PTI workers’ gathering at PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s Zaman Park residence.
Images of PTI worker’s body in Lahore began circulating on social media. Later, more details about Bilal’s death emerged, including CCTV footage of a private 4X4 vehicle dropping Bilal off at a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The victim had 26 marks of torture on his body, according to the post-mortem report.
PTI chief then shared a video of Bilal being taken away in a police van, claiming he was murdered while in police custody.
Furthermore, a request was made at Lahore’s Race Course Police Station to register a first information report (FIR) against interim CM Naqvi and Minister of Interior Rana Sanaullah in connection with Bilal’s death.
Bilal Siddique Kamiyana, a Capital City Police Officer (CCPO), and Sub-inspector Rehan were mentioned in the application submitted by Bilal’s father, Liaquat Ali.
On Thursday, the police formed a committee to investigate Bilal’s death, which included Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Elite Force Sadiq Ali and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Imran Kashore.
