PCAA issues updated rules for international passengers

In response to the rising number of new COVID variant instances, the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) on Thursday published new requirements for overseas travelers.

In addition to requiring staff members to wear facemasks in the international arrival lounge, PCAA also announced additional rules for foreign travelers, including the need that anybody visiting China must have a COVID report that is negative.

According to information, individuals flying to China must have a negative coronavirus report 48 hours before their flight, and those who do will be given boarding passes.
The aviation authority revoked the Green Code, including a health declaration code for overseas travellers. It directed the management to ensure that anti-infective and fumigation procedures were followed at all entrance points.
