Pakistan’s desire for peace should not be perceived as weakness: PM

RISALPUR: Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif said on Friday that Pakistan’s desire for peace should not be viewed as a weakness.

The primary guest during the 147th passing out parade ceremony of the Pakistan Air Force’s GD pilot training at Risalpur Academy was Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

The occasion was also attended by Chief of Air Staff Zaheer Ahmad Babar, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Federal Information Minister Marium Aurangzeb, and senior civil and military leadership.

PM Shehbaz Sharif paid respect to the graduating cadets during the 147th passing out parade ceremony of the Pakistan Air Force’s GD pilot programme. He praised the cadets and their parents for finishing the course.

Sharif stated that Pakistan desires good relations with its neighbors, but that this desire for peace should not be interpreted as a sign of weakness. He decried human rights violations in India-occupied Kashmir and stated that peace in South Asia is not feasible unless the Kashmir problem is resolved.

Furthermore, the Pakistan Air Force’s GD pilot course’s 147th passing out parade celebration at Risalpur Academy concluded with a spectacular air display by the JF-17 Thunder, J-10, and PAF Sherdil teams.
