TANK: In the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa area of Tank, a police van was attacked with grenades, resulting in one fatality and 22 injuries, including two police officers.
The police van was reportedly targeted near Tank’s Marwat Market, which is close to Bannu Road. Consequently, one individual died and twenty others suffered injuries.
The rescue personnel transported the deceased and injured to a neighboring hospital.
Additionally, according to rescue authorities, a terrorist was reported deceased during a search operation.
District Police Officer (DPO) Waqar Ahmed reported that one attacker was captured in a severe condition, while another managed to flee. He stated that local police had started a Lakersurch operation.
Police and attackers are exchanging gunfire along the civil line, according to Waqar Ahmed.
