OGDCL reports another oil and gas discovery in Sanghar

SANGHAR: The Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) has reported another oil and gas find, the second this week, near Kot Nawab in Sindh’s Sanghar district’s Sinjhoro Block.
The OGDCL has said that it will produce 125 barrels of oil per day, 0.483 million standard cubic feet of gas per day, and 400 barrels of water per day.
According to the company’s stock registration on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), OGDCL is the operator (76%) of the Sinjhoro Block, with joint venture partners Orient Petroleum Inc (19%) and Government Holdings Private Limited (5%).
On June 3, 2022, Kot Nawab-I was spudded in as an exploratory well using the internal knowledge of OGDCL. The well had a depth of 3,000 meters. According to the OGDCL, this is the 11th finding of its sort at the Sinjhoro Block.
