Nawaz Sharif, the supremo of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), has instructed the party’s Senior Vice-President and Chief Organizer Maryam Nawaz, and Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah to conduct rallies and meetings ahead of the upcoming elections in Punjab.

On Tuesday, the three met in London, and the three-time prime minister instructed two senior members of the party on their duties in party’s political endeavors in the months running up to the provincial general elections.

Nawaz delegated political tasks to Sanaullah and directed him to mobilize party workers in the province ahead of the next elections.

The party’s senior leaders met to discuss leadership appointments in Punjab as well as intra-party elections.

While turning over responsibility to Maryam and Sanaullah, the PML-N supremo stated that people should be taught the “truth” and that the “false narrative” of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan should be revealed.

The federal minister is scheduled to return to the country on the same day as Maryam, on January 28. Maryam’s return plans have changed, according to Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb.

“There has been a change in the time of Pakistan Muslim League (N) senior vice president and main organizer Maryam Nawaz’s return home,” she said on Twitter. Maryam Nawaz will now arrive in Lahore at 3:50 p.m. on January 28.”
