DADU: According to the Malaria program’s in-charge, at least three children died in a Malaria epidemic in Sindh’s Dadu on Friday.

Malaria has devastated Sindh’s Dadu district, which was devastated by heavy floods last year. Malaria has been diagnosed in over 1,000 persons, with over 200 instances in the last 24 hours.

Residents are having difficulty obtaining medications to treat their loved ones.

The authorities have been warned of a scarcity of drugs needed to treat the mosquito-borne disease, according to the District Malaria program coordinator.

It should be mentioned that, according to National Institute of Health data, 12 flood-affected districts were declared sensitive for Malaria last year.

According to sources, Khairpur, Sanghar, Shaheed Benazirabad, Naushehro Feroze, Badin, Mirpurkhas, Qambar, Jacobabad, Jamshoro, Larkana, Shikarpur, and Dadu are particularly vulnerable in the aftermath of the Maralia disease outbreak.
