Liam Dawson of Lahore Qalandars ruled out from PSL 8 season

KARACHI: Due to an injury, Lahore Qalandars all-rounder Liam Dawson will miss the rest of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season eight.

Dawson suffered an ankle injury during his team’s match against Karachi Kings on Sunday, according to reports.

The all-rounder was then taken to a local hospital, where doctors examined him and advised him to rest for four to six weeks.

Dawson’s PSL franchise Qalandars confirmed on Twitter that the all-rounder suffered an ankle injury and will miss the rest of the season.

“Due to an ankle injury, Liam Dawson has been ruled out of PSL 8. “We wish him a speedy recovery,” Qalandars wrote on Twitter.

As a result, Dawson will return to England to complete his rehabilitation. His PSL team, Qalandars, has yet to name a replacement for the remainder of the event.

On Tuesday, the Qalandars will face the Quetta Gladiators, who will be led by Sarfaraz Ahmed. The defending champions are currently last in the PSL 8 standings with two points, while Gladiators are fifth.
