KARACHI: 14 Afghan nationals were detained by Karachi police on Thursday for allegedly staying there illegally. Details indicate that district Central police conducted a late-night raid and detained 14 Afghan immigrants who were living in Karachi illegally.
According to authorities, the Afghan nationals did not present proof of their Pakistani citizenship or the necessary travel permits. The police have filed proceedings under the Foreigners Act against the aliens and have turned over the guys they have detained to the investigators.
