The information posted on social media is based on “blatant lies and hatred,” according to Inter-services Public Relations (ISPR), which has refuted accusations regarding the assets of Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa and his family.
On social media, false information about General Qamar Javed Bajwa and his family’s riches has been circulated. According to a statement issued by the military’s media wing on Sunday, these false statistics are overstated and predicated on conjecture.
The assets of the father and family of General Bajwa’s daughter-in-law were “extremely skillfully and dishonestly” linked to the army leader and his family, according to the statement.
“A false idea is being spread that throughout General Bajwa’s six-year term, his family was the source of these assets. It is completely false and is founded on deceit and hatred, according to the statement.
The military’s media wing said that the army leader, his wife, and their family had disclosed all of their assets to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
“The Army leader routinely files tax returns with his family. The army head and his family must report their assets to the tax authorities just like every other citizen, it continued.
