According to details, the police have released the investigation report into the murder of religious leader Abdul Qayyum Sufi, which stated that the bullet shells used in this murder did not match any previous incidents.
The investigation revealed that the suspects conducted reconnaissance before carrying out the attack and had knowledge of the area’s entry and exit points, sources say.
The suspects who attacked Abdul Qayum Sufi while he was alone were wearing a helmet and a mask. They had been on the scene since the morning of the murder.

Maulana Abdul Qayyum Sufi, a Pakistan Ulema Association member, was targeted in Karachi’s Gulistan-e-Jauhar Block 9 area.
The religious scholar was shot dead by two armed men riding a motorcycle as he returned home after leading Fajar prayers, according to police. In addition, the deceased was the director of the Noorani Islamic Centre at Jamia Masjid Muhammadia.
According to the police, an investigation has been launched to apprehend the attackers.
