Nawaz Sharif, leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), used India’s economic success as an example of how his party’s policies may help American corporations.
Nawaz told the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) that the PML-N was aware of the country’s economic woes. He further assured them that his party will continue to listen to their suggestions as they have in the past when in power.
When he returned to Pakistan, Nawaz took charge of his party’s campaign. “The business community of Pakistan implemented our policies and India adopted our policies and achieved economic success,” he added.
