Satish Kaushik, an Indian actor, died at the age of 66, according to the Hindustan Times. Ram Lakhan, the actor who appeared in several hits including Mr. India, died of a heart attack.
Kaushik was seen celebrating Holi at the home of Indian lyricist Javed Akhtar two days before his death. He even tweeted photos from the event. Richa Chadha, Mahima Chaudhary, Ali Fazal, and others joined him at the party.

On Twitter, his colleague Anupam Kher also confirmed Kaushik’s death. “I know death is the ultimate truth of this world!” he wrote. But I never imagined I’d be writing this about my best friend Satish Kaushik while still alive. Such an abrupt end to a 45-year friendship! Kangana Ranaut also mentioned Satish in a tweet. “Woke up to this horrible news, he was my biggest cheerleader, a very successful actor, and director, Satish Kaushik, personally was also a very kind and genuine man, I loved directing him in Emergency. Om Shanti, he will be missed,” she wrote.

“I am so shocked to hear the demise of actor-director Satish Kaushik ji, who was always vibrant, energetic, and full of life, he will be missed immensely by the film fraternity and millions of admirers, my deepest condolences to his family members,” wrote filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar.
Kareena Kapoor took to her Instagram stories and shared a picture with the caption which read, “Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai, Milengey Milengey. Satish ji, you have broken my heart. Remembering all of our times together. “May you rest in laughter and peace.”

Satish Kaushik’s Bio
On April 13, 1956, the late Indian star was born. He went on to have a successful career as an actor, director, producer, comedian, and screenwriter. According to the publication, Kaushik attended Kirori Mal College and was a graduate of the National School of Drama and the Film and Television Institute of India.
He has appeared in films such as Ram Lakhan, Saajan Chale Sasural, and Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro, and he rose to prominence as Calendar in Shekhar Kapur’s Mr. India.
