
LAHORE: Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan left for Islamabad today to appear before an Islamabad court to seek interim bail in five cases involving vandalism in the judicial complex.
The decision was made at a meeting presided over by Imran Khan himself, during which he discussed the matter with the party’s leadership and legal team. Imran Khan met with members of his party on Sunday to finalize the plan for his court appearance.
PTI chief agreed to travel to Islamabad on Monday morning to attend the hearing. Fawad Chaudhry and the party’s legal team have already left for Islamabad.
In addition, other PTI central leaders are expected to accompany Imran Khan to court today.

PTI leaders, including Mr. Khan, were called for questioning in connection with a case filed at the Golra police station. The other PTI leaders were called for questioning in connection with cases filed at the CTD police station.
