ISLAMABAD: According to recent reports, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has been certified healthy and fit by the medical board.
The board allegedly performed numerous medical examinations, including blood pressure, sugar level, pulse, heartbeat, and basic blood tests. The PIMS and Polyclinic medical boards collaborated on the examinations.
According to sources, PTI chief Imran Khan did not express any discomfort throughout the examinations to the medical staff, and his test results were completely normal.
Doctors, on the other hand, advised a urine analysis test and an X-ray, for which a portable X-ray machine was brought in. While the urine analysis test is said to have been performed, the doctors are still waiting for the results.
According to hospital sources, the medical report has been turned over to officials from the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
It is worth noting that the medical board was made up of five doctors from PIMS hospital and two from Polyclinic, with Dr. Rizwan Taj serving as the joint medical board’s chairman. The board was made up of specialists from a variety of specialties, including medicine, orthopedics, general surgery, and medicolegal law.
Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan, who was detained in the Al-Qadir Trust case the day before, was referred to a seven-member medical board at Islamabad’s Poly Clinic for a medical examination.
The seven-member medical board was constituted under the supervision of Dr. Fareed Allah Shah and includes professionals in medicine, orthopedics, cardiology, general surgery, and pathology, as well as Dr. Imtiaz Ahmed from the C.M.O. Poly Clinic.
It should be recalled that NAB Rawalpindi approached the Poly Clinic hospital administration to request a medical examination for PTI chief Imran Khan.
According to sources, the administration of the Poly Clinic asked NAB to file a written request, after which NAB formally sought a medical examination for Imran Khan in accordance with the procedure.
