
LAHORE: Hina Parvez Butt, a member of Pakistan Muslim League’s Punjab Assembly, met Nobel winner Malala Yousafzai. During a conference in Lahore, Hina Parvez Butt praised Malala Yousafzai for speaking up for girls’ education.
Malala Yousafzai, the world’s youngest Nobel laureate, came to Pakistan on a three-day visit to attend a number of seminars and sessions.
Malala arrived in Pakistan with her father, Ziauddin Yousafzai, according to reports. Malala tweeted a photo of herself with her family and stated, “That great sensation of being back in Pakistan never fades. It’s wonderful to be back home.”
Malala will meet with representatives from the media, the Malala Fund Education Champion Network, the development community, the education sector, and students during her visit.
