ISLAMABAD: Defense Minister Khawaja Asif stated on Wednesday that the government is considering a ban on the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
“What happened on May 9 was not spontaneous, but it was planned,” Pakistan’s defense minister stated.
“It was Imran Khan’s final ploy against the armed forces,” he claimed. “Those who attacked the Corps Commander’s House and the GHQ had abominable designs,” he alleged.
“Imposing a ban on PTI has been considered.” “It will be a collaborative decision,” he stated. “If this decision is made, the matter will be brought before Parliament,” stated the federal minister.
According to Khawaja Asif, several situations occurred in the past, but no party assaulted defense sites. They committed various crimes, the ISI office was attacked, and four people were killed in Gujranwala during the shooting, he claimed.
“What happened on May 9th was pre-planned,” he explained. “Ignorance of the martyred Captain Karnal Sher Khan’s memorial was a sacrilege; it could be committed by India but not by Pakistan,” the defense minister remarked. “It was Imran Khan’s final ploy against the armed forces,” he claimed.
