All private and public educational institutions will be closed for the summer, the Sindh Education Department declared on Friday.
The notice states that summer vacation would be observed in all Sindh public and private institutions from June 1 to July 31.
According to the provincial secretary of education, the steering group for educational institutions decided on the dates for the school year’s summer break, which were then announced.
It should be mentioned that the choice was made during this year’s steering committee on education meeting.
The statement issued stated that all public and private institutions under the administrative control of the School Education and Literacy Department Government of Sindh shall remain closed from June 1 through July 31, 2023, in observance of decisions made in the steering committee meeting on education.
