Sami Aslam, a Pakistani Test cricketer who moved abroad after feeling “ignored,” has expressed satisfaction with his decision to pursue a cricket career in the United States.
Sami is more than just a cricketer who moved to the United States in search of better chances. Test cricketer Ehsan Adil and international cricketer Hammad Azam are among the others.
Sami said on a YouTube vlog that he is currently residing in San Francisco’s Bay Area, one of the most expensive residential places in the world. Sami is currently living in a magnificent property in the same neighborhood as Tesla and Twitter’s owner Elon Musk, as well as some of the world’s top businesses, as demonstrated and mentioned in the vlog.
“Alhamdulillah, I am content with my life here.” “I own a home and live here with my family,” he explained.
“I’m having a good time playing cricket here.” I’ve always wanted to play cricket, and this is a great opportunity for me. “I wanted to play for Pakistan but didn’t get many chances,” he explained.
Sami played 13 Tests and four One-Day Internationals before being dropped from the national team. In 2020, he moved to the United States to pursue a career as a professional cricketer.
Sami will play for the Indian Premier League (IPL) side Chennai Super Kings (Texas Super Kings) in the inaugural Major League Cricket (MLC) this year.
“I’m excited to play in the Major Leagues this year.” I’ll be playing for the Texas Super Kings. “It’s a fantastic opportunity for all of us,” he said.
“People believe that there is less cricket played here. However, there are numerous opportunities available to us. “Throughout the year, we play a lot of franchise cricket,” he finished.
