
ISLAMABAD: For the first time in 17 years, the England squad arrived in Islamabad early on Sunday morning to begin the three-match Test series against Pakistan.
Since 2015, when international cricket was reinstated in Pakistan, Pakistan has been putting in place extensive security measures to transport the team and support workers to the team hotel.
Strict security measures were in place when the crew was relocated to a hotel in the federal capital. A dinner in the honor of English squad will be hosted by the British High Commissioner in Islamabad. There will be a variety of Pakistani officials there.
The first Test of the series will take place at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on December 1. In the history of the Pindi stadium, a Test game will be played for the first time. Later, Multan will hold the second Test, while Karachi will host the final Test.
