For desktop applications, WhatsApp plans to include a multiple-chat selection functionality that would make it easier for users to manage their chats.
According to a recent claim from WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is aiming to give its web/desktop client a new “Select Chats” feature.
Currently, doing these tasks for several chats on WhatsApp for Desktop is a somewhat laborious process. The new “Select Chats” option is displayed in the report’s screenshot beneath the conversation menu in the upper right corner. You may view what this appears to be.
This feature is currently being worked on, and it’s unknown when consumers will be able to utilize it. The new multiple chat selection functionality is likely to be released with WhatsApp’s feature update early the following year.
In addition, it is anticipated that the Meta-owned messaging platform would make it possible to report Status updates on its desktop version if something offensive or suspicious is published. This may also apply to the Android and iOS versions, although it’s unclear when this will happen.
