PESHAWAR: Due to the possession of forged travel documents, the Federal Investigation Authority (FIA) deported a passenger going to Belgium from Bacha Khan International Airport Peshawar.
According to the information, the passenger called Javed attempted to board flight number QR-601 for a trip to Belgium. The vigilance team suspected that he might be travelling with forged documents, so they asked him to present his documents.
Officials from the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) determined that the travel documents Javed had submitted were fraudulent.
Initial reports state that the Croatian passport, driver’s license, and CNIC that he gave authorities were fakes.
The passenger was given to the Peshawar FIA Anti-Human Trafficking Circle for additional investigation.
An Afghan woman was deported last month by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) immigration officers as she boarded a flight to France at the Peshawar airport after it was discovered that her passport was fake. The woman was detained, according to FIA officials, as passengers were being processed for a flight to Paris.
