Fia Makes Four Arrests in Human Trafficking

On Saturday, the anti-human-trafficking branch of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) made four arrests in Islamabad.

Details indicate that the FIA conducted a raid on human traffickers in the F-8 region of Islamabad, seizing Faisal Lateef, the group’s commander, along with Sudais Ali, Osama Khalid, and Zaid Abbas.

Officials from the FIA said that the human trafficker was apprehended for their role in the illicit smuggling of people from Turkey and Iran into Europe.

According to the FIA spokeswoman, more than 12 passports and a large number of stamps were discovered during the operation. The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had earlier on Friday captured a wanted human trafficker.

The authorities believe he smuggled passengers to Libya, some of whom perished in an earlier shipwreck. According to a statement released by the FIA, Javed Hussain, the most wanted people trafficker connected to the Libyan boat accident, has been arrested by the Gujrat circle.
