
Former AJK Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas proclaimed his support for senior lawmaker Jehangir Tareen on Saturday, stating he will work with him.
“We and Jahangir Tareen want to move forward together,” PTI defector told reporters after meeting with Jahangir Khan Tareen.
Tanveer Ilyas responded to a query by saying that talks about forming a new party were underway. “You will hear good news soon,” he promised.
Former Punjab minister Nauman Langrial, who spoke with Ilyas, stated that they will welcome anyone willing to quit PTI and its narrative.
Tanveer Ilyas has previously met with Tareen to address issues concerning the country’s present political predicament. The foundation of a new political party was also discussed.
The former AJK PM spoke with the Tareen group about the future of politics. Awn Chaudhry, the Prime Minister’s Special Assistant, was also present at the meeting.
Tareen intends to start his own political party this month and is presently consulting with his political associates. Tareen also met with significant figures as well as his legal team in Islamabad.
Tareen also met with his legal team to discuss contesting his disqualification. After wrapping up his talks in the federal capital, the lawmaker is set to leave for Lahore today.
