Eva Longoria presents new travel series ‘Searching For Mexico’

Eva Longoria, an actress, producer, and director, will host CNN’s new travel and food show Searching for Mexico.

Longoria travels across Mexico exploring one of the most popular, and arguably misunderstood, global cuisines in Searching for Mexico, a new six-episode CNN Original Series.

The show debuted on March 26. Longoria highlights must-see attractions, culture, landscape, and cuisine in Mexico City, Yucatan, Oaxaca, Nuevo Leon, Jalisco, and Veracruz.

“All I know is that I’m happy every time I eat Mexican food,” she exclaims.

Longoria and Stanley Tucci co-executive produce the show. Tucci’s CNN show Searching for Italy won Emmys in 2021 and 2022 for Outstanding Hosted Nonfiction Series.

Previously, the ‘Desperate Housewives’ star revealed that she will produce the International Emmy-winning French series Call My Agent!

The adaptation, which was announced at the Series Mania Festival in Lille, will be co-produced by Mediawan, Elefantec Global, and Longoria’s UnbeliEVAble Entertainment.

Longoria will also produce the series and direct the first two episodes. The announcement comes just days after the actress’s directorial debut, Flamin’ Hot.

“Like so many other people around the world, I’ve been a huge fan of the original series since it first aired,” Longoria said.

“I’m thrilled to be collaborating with Mediawan and Elefantec Global to bring one of the greatest properties that provide a witty and satirical look behind the curtain of the entertainment industry for the Spanish-speaking American market,” the actor-turned-director added.
