The contempt cases brought against the PTI leader by the ECP and the CEC will be heard on November 23. During the hearing, the indictment process of the former premier will be launched.
The cases will be heard by a four-person panel led by Nisar Durrani, a member of the ECP.

On the same day, the ECP would hold hearings in the contempt case against former federal ministers Asad Umar and Fawad Chaudhry.
Asad Umar and Fawad Chaudhry have been instructed by the commission to make sure they show up.
Security concerns prevented the earlier appearance before the ECP of the PTI chairman currently being held in Adiala Jail.
The previous prime minister’s absence was reported to the election commission by the interior secretary.
