Christina Aguilera announces sad news amid Las Vegas residency

Christina Aguilera told her fans some bad news at the start of 2024.

The 43-year-old singer said on her Instagram stories on Wednesday that she has “the new year flu” and has to cancel some of her Las Vegas residency shows.

“After wishing everyone a happy new year from the stage in Las Vegas. She wrote, “I’ve been welcome with a new year flu!”

“I AM SORRY TO SHARE THAT MY TWO SHOWS THIS WEEKEND WILL BE RESCHEDULED WHILE I REST – AND I CANNOT WAIT TO BE BACK ON THAT STAGE IN A FEW WEEKS,” Christina said.

At the end of the long note, the singer of “Reflection” thanked her fans: “I’M INCREDIBLY PROUD OF THIS SHOW AND GRATEFUL FOR ALL THE SUPPORT AND LOVE AFTER OPENING WEEKEND! “I’ll see you soon.”

The pop artist began her residency in Las Vegas with two shows on December 30 and December 31 before the end of 2023.

Christina shared a sneak peek of her residency practice on Instagram at the end of December. In it, she sang Guy What Takes His Time from her 2010 movie Burlesque.
