Patrick Brown, the head of the Canadian opposition party, paid a visit to Imran Khan, the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, on Sunday at his Zaman Park mansion in Lahore.
The meeting covered Pakistan’s overall political and economic situation. Imran Khan underlined the government’s approach to the elections while speaking at the event.
Early elections, according to the former prime minister, are the only way to address Pakistan’s issues.
The administration, according to Imran Khan, is afraid to hold elections because they are aware that they will lose to PTI.
To obstruct the path to new elections, the government has chosen to violate the Constitution.
Leader of the Canadian opposition party Patrick informed Khan during the meeting that he had a sizable following in both Canada and Brampton. He tweeted about his encounter with Imran Khan following the meeting as well.
I had a very nice chat with @ImranKhanPTI this evening about politics, democracy, the rule of law & of course cricket.
