Bilawal for people-centered democracy

Indonesia’s Bali:

The foundation of an independent society, according to Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, is democracy. He also stressed the need for emerging country democracies to work together to address shared challenges.

The foreign minister demanded reform of global financial institutions while speaking at the 15th Bali Democracy Forum in Bali, an Indonesian vacation destination.

He claimed that Pakistanis have always fought for a democracy that is centered on the needs of the people.

In his speech, Bilawal also emphasized the necessity for democracies all over the world to reinvent themselves in order to better respond to the demands of their people and to work together to create solutions that are centered on the needs of the people.

The foreign minister spoke at the International Conference on Afghan Women’s Education when he was there as well. He emphasized the necessity for comprehensive aid programs that would help all facets of society. He also reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to the welfare and development of the Afghan people.

Before departing for Singapore, the foreign minister paid a visit to Indonesia to take part in the Bali Democracy Conference. RetnoMarsudi, the foreign minister of Indonesia, and Dr. BiseraTurkovic, the foreign minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina, were also visited by Bilawal outside of the Bali summit.

Pakistan and Indonesia resolved to create a joint ministerial committee (JMC) at their meeting with Marsudi in order to strengthen their bilateral relationships and cooperation in a variety of areas. Later, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the creation of the JMC was signed by the two foreign ministers.

Bilawal also met Dr. Turkovic, with whom he addressed high-level interactions, commerce, and bilateral cooperation mechanisms.

They decided to step up their bilateral collaboration in areas where it will result in concrete results.
