The conference will be presided over by PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, and it will focus on the current political scenario.

The National Security Council has vowed to take action against the May 9 attacks.

National Security Committee (NSC) meeting on Friday determined to bring to court the “spoilers” involved in the recent attacks on military sites on May 9 – the day Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan was detained.

Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif summoned a meeting of the National Security Committee (NSC), the main national body in charge of security concerns, to evaluate the law-and-order situation following ‘violent protests’ following Imran Khan’s incarceration.

The meeting also includes the heads of the services, key federal ministries, and the heads of civil and military intelligence gathering institutions.
