
ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto raised concern about climate change in Pakistan, saying that poor countries are suffering from the consequences of the climate catastrophe caused by affluent countries.
According to reports, the Foreign Minister discussed the rain situation in various regions of the country and noted that poor nations are suffering as a result of the climate problem caused by affluent countries.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expressed regret and anguish over the loss of precious lives in the rain-related incidents.
According to the foreign minister, rains have already begun in Pakistan as a result of climate change, creating flooding in rivers and canals throughout the country, including Balochistan.
He stated that many of those harmed by the last record-breaking rains are still waiting for assistance, and that the process of reconstructing hundreds of thousands of houses and infrastructure is still incomplete.
According to Foreign Minister Bilawal, all relevant organizations and authorities, including the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), should be watchful in light of the rains, and people should take precautionary measures and avoid travelling during the rains.
