
BANNU: Unidentified terrorists attacked the house of Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Ameenullah in North Waziristan, injuring at least eight persons.
According to reports, a group of terrorists raided the home of a police officer in North Waziristan’s Danday Syedkhel district. The ASI’s family fought heroically against the attackers, forcing them to leave.
In the exchange of fire with the outlaws, eight individuals were hurt, including two women and ASI Ameenullah.
The injured were sent to a neighboring hospital.
Previously, a Pakistan Army soldier was killed in an IED explosion in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s (KP) Bannu district.
According to the military’s media wing, an improvised explosive device (IED) exploded on a roadside near Jani Khel – Bannu, killing one soldier.
Sepoy Gul Sher, a 24-year-old Khyber district inhabitant, was identified as the martyred soldier. Following the IED detonation, security personnel launched a search and clearance operation to destroy any remaining terrorists.
